OSKO Payment Method - FAQ

Learn about the OSKO payment method, including what it is, expected transfer times and how to use it.

What is OSKO?

OSKO was built to utilise the Australian New Payments Platform (NPP).  It allows near-instant payments to be sent via online or mobile banking and is available 24/7 from most Australian Banks.

How do I use it?

The OSKO option can be found during the payment method process when making a purchase.

  1. Once you have selected Bank Deposit - OSKO, you will be presented with a BSB and Account number.
  2. Log in to your online or mobile banking and input the BSB and Account number along with your Order ID as a reference.  Make sure you add your Order ID or your order won't be processed.

Once your deposit has been sent there are a few things you must note as per the highlighted text in the image above:

Your quote is valid at the time of order but is subject to change.  The order will fill at the market rate at the time when your deposit clears.  When paying via OSKO, transaction times can vary, as some banks will hold these transactions for up to 24 hours.  This usually only occurs on the first 1-3 transactions depending on your bank.

The above is dependent on each banks OSKO policy when sending to new accounts.  This is an anti-fraud measure by the banking industry due to the near-instant settlement of the deposits.

What does it cost?

There are no charges for using OSKO with Easy Crypto.

What about Sell Orders?

We are endeavouring to pay out all Sell Orders via OSKO where possible and compatible with your account.  Pay outs will usually be executed 4 times per day.

I forgot to add a reference, what do I do?
