Understanding the Basics
The Easy Crypto tracker is a nifty tool that gives you a clear view of your crypto investments. It's like a personal financial dashboard, but for crypto!
Key Points to Remember:
Automatic Tracking for Easy Crypto Transactions:
The Easy Crypto Tracker automatically records your crypto activity when it happens through the Easy Crypto website. This includes BUY and SELL transactions completed via the Easy Crypto Wallet app, as those are processed through our site.
External Transfers Not Captured:
However, SENDING & RECEIVING in the Easy Crypto wallet and any transfers to or from external wallets or platforms (like Binance, Trust Wallet, etc.) won’t be automatically tracked. These types of external movements must be manually added to your tracker as these are not processed through the site.
Manual Input Flexibility:
You can manually add trades and transfers that weren’t processed through Easy Crypto. This includes purchases, sales, or transfers made on other platforms. Simply enter the date, crypto asset, quantity, price, and transaction type (buy, sell, send, receive) to keep your tracker accurate.
🚨Important Note on Manual Sell Entries:
If you’re using the Easy Crypto Tracker to monitor your full portfolio, only record a sell manually if you’ve actually disposed of the crypto (e.g. sold it for fiat or another asset). If you’ve simply moved it to an exchange like Binance, the crypto still belongs to you — it's just stored elsewhere — so that wouldn’t be considered a sale.
Navigating the Easy Crypto Tracker
Finding the Tracker:
Click Here or on the "Tracker" button in the top menu bar of the website to open up the tracker page.
Understanding the Graph:
The graph provides a visual representation of your portfolio's performance over time. You can see how your investments have fluctuated, and identify trends and patterns.
You can zoom in on specific date ranges to get a more detailed look at your investments during that period. This allows you to analyse specific time-frames and understand the impact of market events on your portfolio.
Checking Your Stats:
The tracker displays key statistics like your current portfolio value, total investment amount, returns, and a breakdown of your coin holdings. This gives you a clear overview of your financial situation.
The pie chart offers a visual representation of how your portfolio is distributed across different cryptocurrencies. This helps you understand the diversification of your investments and identify potential areas for re-balancing.
Additional Features to Explore:
Manual Trade Entry: Easily add trades from other platforms to keep your tracker up-to-date. This ensures that your tracker provides a comprehensive view of your entire crypto portfolio, regardless of where the trades were made. - Click Here for a detailed guide
Moon Mode: A fun feature that lets you visualise how your portfolio would look with significant price increases. This can be a motivating tool and help you set financial goals.
Tax Summary: A quick overview of potential tax implications (please note: this is not professional tax advice). While this feature can be helpful, it's important to consult with a tax professional to get accurate and personalised advice.
Force Refresh: Manually refresh the tracker to ensure you're seeing the latest data. This is particularly useful if you've made recent trades or if there have been significant market movements.
Hide/Show Low Balances: Customise your view to focus on significant holdings or to get a more comprehensive overview. This allows you to tailor the tracker to your specific needs and preferences.
