What is the Easy Crypto wallet?

The Easy Crypto wallet is a simple, safe and easy to use mobile app designed to deliver a secure and intuitive experience for managing multiple digital assets and crypto wallets, regardless of whether you’re a crypto novice or an experienced user.

What makes it so unique is its comprehensive set of features that means that there’s no need to have multiple wallets - think of it like the swiss-army-knife of wallets! Some of these features include:

  • Wide coin support | It’s a multi-chain wallet, designed to support and manage multiple cryptocurrencies and assets on different blockchain networks. Now you can bring all of your digital assets into one place, instead of juggling multiple wallets to support different coins.

  • Privacy | With blockchain, all transactions are publicly visible by default. While this has some amazing advantages, when it comes to our finances we don’t necessarily want everyone we interact with seeing our full financial history. With the Easy Crypto wallet you can easily spin up new accounts, each with separate addresses, to improve your on-chain privacy.

  • Multiple wallets in one | as well as easily setting up new addresses, you can create entire new wallets at the click of a button. You might want to have one wallet for personal use, one for business, and one as a joint account with someone else. Each wallet is separately recoverable, and talking of that…

  • Secure | We’ve created simple recovery and back up processes that if put in place ensure that your wallet can’t be lost. One of those being a world class social recovery method for your account where your most trusted friends and family are your safety net.

Hopefully you’re starting to see why we believe the Easy Crypto wallet is the only digital wallet you’ll ever need!

What is self custody?

Self-custody means you’re fully in control of your digital assets. It means you hold your private keys (not a third party), giving you the power and ownership over your cryptocurrencies.

Do I have to be connected to the internet to use the Easy Crypto wallet?

How does the Easy Crypto wallet know the value of my crypto assets?

The Easy Crypto wallet calculates the value of your crypto assets by fetching the current prices from the market in near real-time. It takes into account the prevailing market rates to provide you with an estimation of the value of your cryptocurrencies.

This may differ slightly from what you see on other sites, as there is no one global price for crypto assets. In addition, there is a difference between the market “buy rate” (what someone will buy crypto for) the market “sell rate” (what people are willing to sell for) and the spot rate, which is the mid-point between these two.

Web3, what is that?

Web3 is the next generation of the internet. It's all about moving away from the old Web2 era ruled by big tech companies. In Web3, power shifts to decentralised service providers, and it puts users at the centre. Cryptocurrencies are the superstars of Web3! They let you say goodbye to banks and hello to secure and alternative ways of sending and storing value. It's a revolution, and Web3 is leading the charge!
